The Chester Beatty announces full schedule of family-friendly events for Summer 2023

Situated in the heart of Dublin City centre, the Chester Beatty opens a window on the artistic treasures of the great cultures and religions of the world - Asia, Middle East, North Africa and Europe.  We usually associated the venue with wonderful exhibitions (such as the First Fragments Biblical Papyrus from Roman Egypt which is running now until 3rd September 2023) but this Summer, they have announced a range of events and activities that are bound to be a great success.

From June to August 2023, the Chester Beatty will be marking several national festivals including Cruinniú na nÓg, Bloomsday, International Yoga Day in June and National Heritage Week in August.

Health, well-being and nature will be the focus of many activities including a yoga workshop on 24th June, a short series of events for teenagers (6-7 July) and Slow Art Tour & Meditation on 8th July.

Art and ‘make-and-do’ workshops for families and adults will be scheduled throughout the summer and in August, the focus will be National Heritage Week (12-20 August) when we will be celebrating ‘living heritage’ with a series of talks, tours and workshops.

These are just some of the events that people can expect over the course of the next few months - for further information on the full schedule, visit www.chesterbeatty.ie.
