Families can enjoy creative writing workshops, book launches and treasure hunts at the The Dublin Book Festival between 14th - 17th of November.

The weekend of the 16th and 17th is dedicated to your little writers, where they will get a chance to write and bind their own book, meet brilliant authors and even create their own comic book.

Some of the highlights from Saturday include a creative writing workshop hosted by Fighting Words for kids aged between 10 and 12. The workshop runs from 10:00am – 12:00pm and booking is essential. Not forgetting the youngest readers, Siobhan Grogan invites them to read her two interactive Irish books Caoimhe agus an bogha báistí and Cén t-am é? between 11:00am – 11:50am.

On Sunday, if you are looking for a new series to delve into or are feeling uninspired by the books on your selves, mums, dads and kiddies can drop into the Book Doctors who will offer the best advice. There will also be a Write Your Own Comic Book for those aged 8 and up and an open invitation to the newest Nightmare Club book, The Hatching.
