The Duchess of Cambridge dazzles in lace Alexander McQueen gown

The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in one of her most beautiful gowns at last night’s Royal Variety Performance.

The mum-of-three joined her husband Prince William at the glamorous event in London and looked every inch of a superstar in her Alexander McQueen gown.

The black lace gown was quite daring for Kate, but the statement dress was a flawless option for the 37-year-old.

Kate wore black shoes and a matching clutch with the dress, as well as her beautiful Erdem earrings.

The Duchess opted for her classic makeup look- smokey eye and a nude lip- and wore her hair in loose, bouncy curls.

The annual Royal Variety Performance is held in aid of the Royal Variety Charity, of which Her Majesty The Queen is Patron.

The money raised from the show helps entertainers across the UK, who need help and assistance as a result of old age, ill-health, or hard times.

At the end of the show, Kate and William greeted the performers and thanked them for putting on such an incredible show.

The royals met singer Robbie Williams, the cast of Mary Poppins, Lewis Capaldi, the cast of Come From Away, Harry Connick Jr. and Luke Evans.

There’s no doubt the Duke and Duchess enjoyed a night away from their parenting duties.

Kate revealed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte asked if they could attend the show but Kate told them, ‘not on a school night’.
