Ireland’s biggest family-friendly festival returns to Ireland for its 13th year, and you can’t miss it. Laya Healthcare’s City Spectacular returns this summer to Dublin’s Merrion Square from Friday, July 6 to Sunday, July 8 and to Cork’s Fitzgerald Park on Saturday, July 14 and Sunday, July 15.

Families will be thrilled to hear that entry to Ireland’s biggest family-friendly festival is entirely free of charge.

The festival runs over three days in Dublin and two days in Cork, showcasing the best in international street performance, the world’s leading living statue artists, free family activities, delicious street food from around the world as well as a pet area with charity partner the DSPCA.

“Celebrating thirteen spectacular years, the festival will be brought to life with new programming additions and a terrific international buskers line-up. New to 2018 is the It’s Good to Live Stage where kids and their parents can dance, drum, jump and join in on family health classes across the two weekends in Dublin and Cork,” said Festival Director Shell Holden.

Shell Holden added, “We are encouraging families to go back to basics with play and games and let their imagination run free.”

“We think everyone who attends this year will be in for a uniquely spectacular experience.”

Laya Healthcare, Ireland's second largest health insurance provider, has once again committed its support to the free family festival and this year announced that it will focus on children’s health and wellbeing and encouraging visitors to live life to its fullest.

There is something for everyone at this year’s festival, with a huge mix of entertainment to keep both adults and kids entertained.
