One of Ireland’s oldest fair, the Puck Fair, takes place on the 10th, 11th and 12th August 2016 in Killorglin, Co. Kerry.

This family-fun festival is the only one in Ireland where a goat is crowned King of the town for three days.

There are loads to keep the whole family entertained including Irish dancing and circus skills workshops, face painting, street performers, Coronation parade and magic shows.

What’s even better  - they are all free of charge which means kids can have fun while mum relaxes knowing she isn’t going to spend a fortune.

Starting off the festival on Wednesday, 10th of August is the Coronation Parade which will see colourful floats and entertainers and marching bands.

This is sure to be three days of fun and frolics, so don’t forget to mark it in your diary.
