Prince George celebrates his sixth birthday today and the young royal is certainly celebrating in style.
George and his family have jetted off to the luxury destination of Mustique for the special occasion. A royal insider confirmed the family’s holiday plans to The Sun’s Fabulous.
The family-of-five will mark George’s sixth birthday on the exclusive island which is where they spent their last summer break.
The royal source told Fabulous Digital: “They are going to Mustique again. It is incredibly private and incredibly discreet but not remote. They know and trust the staff who work there."
In honour of their son’s birthday, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge posted three new photos of George on the Kensington Palace Instagram account.
The birthday boy grinned from ear to ear in the stunning shots that were taken by his mum Kate.
The photos of George wearing his England jersey were taken in their family garden in Kensington Palace.
The third photo was recently taken during their family holiday in Mustique.
Kate and William shared a sweet message alongside the photos.
“Happy Birthday Prince George! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share new photographs of Prince George to mark His Royal Highness's sixth birthday.
“Thank you everyone for all your lovely messages!” they added.
There’s no doubt the young prince will have the most enjoyable birthday on the island of Mustique.
The island is entirely private and even has its own police force to keep the socialite clientele safe and hidden.
