A welcome to our new Musketeers

I know you loved it most
When it was daddy, you and me
The three musketeers for eternity

But then we added, another two
And before your eyes
Our family grew

They will be your best friends
Though you don't see it now
There'll be love, laughter
and the occasional row

There'll be ups and downs
highs and lows
But together you'll fight it
As your sibling love grows

Some days they will need mummy
More than you do
When they are feeling sick
Or a little bit blue

But don't feel left out
Or think I love them more
Equally the same
All three I adore

There may be playground bullies
Who will make your sister sad
But you will lift her spirits
And show her life's not so bad

With you by his side
Your brother will soar
Because friends or girls
Will never mean more

So if they annoy you now
Hold back your tears
Because one day soon
They'll be your new Musketeers
