This video of a deaf baby hearing her mum's voice for the first time will make you cry

 

Little Charly Keane was born severely deaf last August. 

 

Now, her parents have shared a video of her hearing their voices for the very first time. 

 

They managed to get a hearing aid for baby Charly and her emotional reaction to hearing her mums say 'I love you' has us all in tears. 

 

 

It's amazing to see how far across the world her little soul has touched lives. One man even admitted to being on his darkest day, deep in depression, but her video brought him light again. I think this video has gotten such a great response because that is what the world needs more of. Love, and light, and stories of hope and encouragement. Human beings having human emotions that are irrefutable. The kindness and support that has been extended to my family has been so overwhelming. That. The video has now been shared over 15 million times and you can see why. It shows baby Charly listening intently to her mum's voice as she says 'I love you' and 'Hi baby'. Her little lip wobbles as she responds with little whimpers of happiness. 

 

 

We admit we had shed a few tears here at MP HQ watching the baby's emotional reaction. We suspect you will too!

 

Baby Charly will now get speech therapy so her parents can eventually hear her little voice someday.
