As we have seen from the previews of so many of our favourite high street brands’ new collections, the 70’s are back with a bang this season. As one of the most versatile and comfortable trends of the season, we’re showing you three ways to channel it seamlessly through your spring wardrobe.

1. Fringing

From leather jackets to scarves, right down to your boots; fringing is dominating everything from your favourite fashion staples to your accessories and footwear this season. A fringed pieces is not only fun but channels that retro trend in a classically chic way.

2. Suede

Nothing says 70’s like suede. Now that the biting cold has left us and warmer days are ahead, this is the perfect fabric to wear, whether in the form of a jacket, or a mini skirt (great with some knee-high boots).

3. Maxi everything

From loose, flowing cardigans and shawls to light dresses and gypsy skirts, opting for oversized pieces really nails that bohemian look that works so well under this trend. Crochet fabric and abstract prints in neutral shades will really carry off this look.
