Lovely news this morning as it has been reported that RTE presenter, Maura Derrane, and her husband, John Deasy have welcomed a baby boy into the world.
Despite news that the little boy arrived a few weeks ahead of schedule, mum and baby are said to be doing well.
Maura and John, a Fiana Gael politician, were married in 2005.
Congratulations to the family, wonderful news.
