About: Experience the gorgeous landscape of the Suir Valley by taking a tour in a period carriage. This family-friendly railway runs along the picturesque banks of the River Suir and offers views of the Mount Congreve Gardens. This is a wonderful way to experience some history and you will have views that are only possible by this train.

The heritage narrow gauge railway follows 8.5 kilometers of the abandoned Waterford  - Dungarvan route. You will experience panoramic views of rolling farmland, river and mountains. This is an area rich in history dating back to the Vikings.

The train station is located just outside the village of Kilmeaden. At the station a restored mark 2 railway carriage serves as the ticket office and shop. There are light refreshments available for purchase, and there is indoor and outdoor seating available at the station.
