Win a hamper of goodies from The Foods of Athenry

Based in the west of Ireland, The Foods of Athenry is a multi award winning bakery run by Siobhan Lawless. All their products are made from original recipes in their bakery on the family farm. They operate in 2 separate baking facilities, one for Gluten Free and one for standard products. They were awarded ‘Producer of the Year 2012/2013’ by Good Food Ireland. Over the years we have also won 31 taste awards for our growing range of products. All products contain NO artificial colours, flavour, preservatives,  NO Hydrogenated Fats or GM ingredients. They are registered with the Irish Coeliac Society and are fully accreditated.

 

Included in the Gluten Free range are Flapjacks, Cookies, Very Berry Hi-Omega Granola, Gourmet Craic’ers, and Lemon Loaf Cake. We tried all of these products (oh what a tough life we have here at MummyPages) and found them to be seriously yummy – a very high achievement for Gluten Free goodies!

 

Other products in the Gluten Free range include Very Fruity Cider Cake, Belgian Chocolate Fudge Cake (which we are dying to try out!) and Fruit Tea Brack. The brack is fantastic as a healthy choice cake. It is processed sugar/sweetener and dairy free, with only 100 calories per slice (based on 12 slices).

 

 

 

 

They have launched a brand new range of cereals - all gluten free, and at the Irish Food Awards this year, two of their new gluten free cereals won in the normal cereal category (because they are so scrumptious). The range of gluten free cereals include: Strawberry & Vanilla Granola, Mega Munchy Muesli, High Omega VERY BERRY Granola, Nutty Crunch Granola and Sunshine Porridge.
