You can’t beat the bond of family, and that link is well and truly thriving within the Mooney family.
Brothers Anthony and John Mooney have made headlines, after recently welcoming their children on the exact same day, just hours apart.
The brothers, from England, have apparently always done everything together, and so are not surprised that their little ones have followed suit – even though their partners’ due dates were scheduled apart.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the brothers – who are three years apart in age – became fathers together on April 5, with their partners giving birth in Liverpool Women’s Hospital.
John and Kelly kicked things into gear, welcoming their daughter Melody Alex at 12:15pm. The tot weighed in at a healthy 7lbs 9oz.
Anthony and Lindsey followed, with little Daniel Alex born just hours later, at 4:15pm, weighing in at 7lbs 6oz.
Both babies and mothers – who even shared midwife appointments in the lead-up to the births – are said to be doing well.
What a coincidence! Congratulations to both families on the arrival of their little bundles of joy.
