Breastfeeding comes with a host of unique challenges, pumping being one of the most prevalent.

Pumping is one of those things that can be time consuming, and requires privacy - so for mums who have gone back to work, it can be a pretty tricky undertaking.

Trying to find a private area to pump is one of the biggest postpartum challenges (in our opinion, anyway!)

However, mums on social media are banding together, and are sharing some of the strangest places they have had to pump while in work.

According to MomsRising.org, "60 percent of working women don't have access to proper places to pump."

The advocacy group hope to change that statistic, so in honour of breastfeeding awareness month, it has been encouraging working mothers to share photos of the ridiculous places they've pumped in since going back to work using the hashtag #IPumpedHere on social media.

Check them out, mums!

4R Lavatory pumping anyone? Hahahaha when you don't want to pump in crew rest because of the sound.... thank goodness for my Medela Swing, I can hang it anywhere! (I had just turned it on, hence no milk yet) . Pro-pumping on the go tip: if you will be pumping in the lav and it's going to take a bit () let a flight attendant know so that no one bothers you! Sometimes if someone is taking too long in the lav we will knock on the door to make sure they are okay (safety/security reasons) . . #a330300 #longhaul #pumpingmom #pumpingmama #medelabreastpump #medelaswing #mother #ipumpedhere #crossingthepond #falife #crewlife #flightattendantproblems #lactatingmom #lactation #breastisbest #breastfeeding #pumpingonthego #normalizebreastfeeding
