We often lay claim to being the stronger sex, and new dad Jaryd Cachia is in full agreement.
The Insta-blogger, who recently welcomed daughter Betty into the world, has written a touching post praising his wife and women everywhere.
“Let’s just say I’m glad it’s them and not us,” wrote the new father, after watching wife Sophie’s labour.
The doting new dad is nothing short of ‘amazed’ after ‘seeing what the female body is capable of’.
“It’s hard to see the agony and pain and feel helpless on the side lines, but to see their face after Baby has arrived, where they instantly forget everything that just happened, is the best feeling in the entire world for me as a dad and husband,” he wrote.
Jaryd, who is in total awe of his wife, has nothing but compliments to shower on all of the strong mums who have battled their way through labour.
“While…I’ll never be able to completely understand what it feels like, I sure as hell could see it and for that I appreciate this woman more than ever. All women. You’re all legends in my eyes,” he added.
