What you need
- Felt (in festive colours, red and green)
- Pom poms
- Googly eyes (available in craft stores)
- Candy canes
- Glue
- Scissors
- Sticky tape
How to make your candy cane mice
- Cut a tear drop shaped body out of the green felt. It should be around 6". In the middle, cut 2 parallel slits that are aprox. 1" and abour 30cm apart.
- To make the ears, cut a round bow shape from the red felt. It should be about 5 inches long. The bow is used to make the ears.
- Fit the ears through the 2 slits on the mouse's body and glue on 2 googly eyes and a pom pom nose.
- Make a hole at the very end of the mouse's body and slip a candy cane underneath to make the tail! Tuck the straight end of the candy cane between the mouse's ears-use sticky tape to keep in place.
