so last thursday i received my easy bake brownies pack containing original, orange and mocha
My son was delighted as he loves to bake, i loved the packaging it would definitely catch my eye in the supermarket.
so listed on the packaging is exactly what you need 3 eggs , 170g butter and baking tray. my son loved the pictures and was able to point and tell me what he needed to do next. he is 5 and loved it
we did make the mix as stated on the packaging but used a larger tray to make them slightly thinner and we made more of them that way , I have to say the orange was my favourite and my son loved the original
we would most definitely buy these again as we really enjoyed it and its great to have the easier pictures for children to follow rather than telling them what has to be done . Really worth a buy

We received our Easy Bake Brownies pack last week containing mocha, original and orange. The packaging was very impressive and it looks like great care and attention has gone into making this product. It is certainly something that would catch my eye when out shopping!
The pack lists all of the ingredients you require i.e. 3 eggs and 170g butter. You can also add 100g of melted chocolate to make the brownies richer.
My kids couldn't wait to get started and having the mix pre-prepared saves so much time and mess at the start! The instructions are so easy to follow especially with the pictures as an extra help for kids. My two loved making the brownies not to mention licking the bowl when finished! The brownies turned out perfectly and were the most delicious ones I have tasted in a long time. Even my husband, who is off biscuits, cakes, etc at the moment decided to 'sample' one followed by another and another and another........ Needless to say, they didn't last long!
This is most certainly something we would buy again. It would be great if having your kids friends over for a play date and plan to bake - everybody would be happy!

I received my Easy Bake pack, containing Mixes of three flavors last Friday. The packaging of these three Mixes (Original, Mocha and Orange) was impressive, cute, it would make perfect gift for Mothers Day, Teacher, or Girlfriend.All Mummy Testers got some background information about these products. Easy Bake creator is from family of bakers, it’s a family business. This is very appealing fact for me.Mixes contains only few simple ingredients like – sugar, flour, cocoa and flavouring. Instructions couldn't be easier to follow. My 5 year old son understood how to bake these Brownies from cute little pictures on packs.My favorite flavor is Mocha, least favorite – Orange. My sons and partner did not told anything about flavors, cakes were gone in a minutes. I assume they liked them all.Brownies are full of moist, dense, very sweet and chocolatey, I would not recommend to add any more chocolate. I baked Brownies in 26 cm round baking tray, for 20 min, added some Pecan Nuts as well. I left the first brownie in oven for 25 min and it was to much, I baked to dry brownie. I wish good luck for this family business, products are really worth a buy.

I was delighted when I received a lovely hamper of Easy Bake Brownies in a lovely package to try at home. I found the packaging to be very eye catching and I think it would look good on the shelves of the supermarket. So I was interested to see what the different flavours tasted like, there were 3 varieties Original, Mocha and orange. I usually bake a batch of brownies every week for my family so they were the perfect testers!
I found the the Easy Bake products very easy and quick to use. I was helped by my 10 year old son who was able to follow the instructions from the illustrations on the packet. We had them mixed and ready for the oven in 5 minutes. So I did find this much quicker than making my own brownies from scratch.
We made our first batch of original brownies and baked for 25 minutes but they were a little dry so when we made the Orange and Mocha we only bake for 20 minutes and found them better. I loved the Orange brownies, the kids prefered the original and my husband loved the Mocha. I wouldn't be a fan of Mocha flavouring but both Mocha and Orange flavour could be tasted very well in the brownies.
We made the brownies as per the packet and didn't add any extra ingredients but you could add some chocolate chips or nuts. We used the baking tray size as per the packet but compared to my own brownies I found these to be flatter and not as big as my own. But they tasted good!
I would buy them again, for occasional use and to have in the cupboard for when I needed some baking in a hurry but I would be interested to know the cost of this ready mix as this information was not given in the test as you also need to add butter and eggs to this mix. But I would recommend them to my friends/family who would bake occasional for the convenience and they just can't go wrong with these!

These are the most wonderful invention ever! Thanks very much for letting me test them out.
I’m not a natural cook, but I do try, especially for the kids birthdays, so these will come in so handy. The kids and I decided to bake on Saturday morning – after activities. We made the mocha ones, which we decided we’d keep for us. And then made the orange ones for granny, and original one for our neighbour.
They were really simple to make, instructions were great, and they turned out exactly as we wanted them. The kids absolutely LOVED the mocha flavour, and granny let us have a taste of the orange one we made her, and of course our neighbour insisted we test the original flavour to. We all agreed that we made the right decision – mocha was our favourite, and as granny loves orange she was delighted with her, and the neighbours were so grateful to receive a home-made gift for no reason.
I would highly recommend this to other mums, especially if you’re not a great baker, these are so so easy to make, there’s limited fuss, but the end result is gorgeous.

I was so happy to be selected to take part in this trial, I had agreed to help out in a bake sale, and I really didn’t know what I was going to bake, or where I would find the time. Easy Bake Brownies are the perfect solution.
Myself and my daughter cooked up a storm last Saturday evening, and we baked all three. They came out perfect, and were delicious too. We sprinkled icing sugar on the orange flavoured brownies, we added a think chocolate layer on the mocha flavour, and chocolate icing on the original flavour. These are hands down the most simple baking ever.
I think our favourite was the orange flavour, but we really enjoyed them all.

I do most of my baking from scratch, but I have to say, when you’re busy busy busy – sometimes that’s just not possible.
We had a christening at the weekend, and so having these on hand were such an easy addition to the spread. We made the mocha one, which we served up with ice-cream. I can’t imagine I would’ve made better myself. There wasn’t a crumb left by the end of the day. We look forward to trying the other two flavours.
Would recommend, and will absolutely buy again.

Feedback for Easy Bake Brownies

I love anything easy, and these Easy Bake Brownies are just that. A readymade mix, with just a few additional ingredients required (all store cupboard staples). We had these made in minutes – no fuss, and really easy. Great for a rainy day activity, and a brilliant way to whip something up last minute.
We really liked the original flavour, but mocha and orange were very nice too.
We have a communion and birthday coming up at the end of the month, so we’ll be buying these again for both occasions.

I hadn’t heard of the Easy Bake brownies range before nor had I seen them in the supermarket so I was delighted to have been chosen to take part in this trial. Not only did we get to indulge in a variety of tasty tea time treats but we had lots of fun preparing them together on a rainy cold afternoon in April!
I loved reading the background to where Michelle got the idea for these lovely Easy Bake brownies and her lifelong passion for baking. We all like the idea of making our own treats for parties and to impress our family and friends but few of us have the time nor the patience to devote to finding recipes and ingredients to do it from scratch. I admire Michelle’s innovation and courage in taking the problem into her own hands and coming up with a solution and bringing it to the market. I like the fact that they are made in Ireland as lately I am making a huge effort to convert to buying Irish wherever possible. For anybody who wants to rustle up tasty brownies in a jiffy, this is the perfectly easy and quick way to do it.
As I am neither a regular baker nor a particularly good cook, I really need something easy to use and to follow. I have to say making these brownies was dead simple - the instructions were clear, concise and methodical. Nothing else was required except 3 eggs, melted butter and a hot oven.
I made the brownies with a friend and her young kids and that is one of the things I liked best – having company and having fun. The fact that you can entertain the kids for the afternoon and have something to show afterwards really appeals to me. Nothing can come close to the aroma of homemade brownies wafting around the kitchen, even the dog wanted to know what was cooking and we had to give him a taste of course. We all had a great time and the kids have already been asking when they can bake more. We preferred to do a tray bake rather than individual muffins and I have to confess one of the reasons is that it allows us to cut slices as big as we like, depending on how greedy we’re feeling!
I thought the packaging was very clever. I haven’t seen baking mixes in tubs before and they were easy to store, portable, attractive and colourful and each flavour was clearly identifiable on the lid. I think they would definitely stand out on the supermarket shelf.

We decided to go all out and added chocolate chips and mixed chopped nuts to give an extra crunch and I thought it made a really great addition – just added that extra bit of oomph! From a personal viewpoint, I wasn’t as keen on the orange flavour as the others, I never usually go for orange and chocolate together so this one didn’t appeal to me but nobody else agreed and they wolfed them down in minutes. Each flavour has something unique and special to offer and your own mood and palate will determine which one you prefer the most. As regards texture, they were just right, not too chewy nor too sticky. I would think you would have to be careful to keep an eye on the time as it could be easy to let them burn which would be a shame, they only took 20 mins in our oven.
I rarely bake anything - I find I just haven’t the time nor the patience. This product made it so much easier - having ready-made ingredients and simple instructions. I would certainly buy these mixes again as a handy alternative to the traditional way of baking from scratch, it’s just easy, fun and we all felt proud that we actually had something to show at the end of our efforts. I’d like to know the price point – will Michelle be promoting a luxury premium product for the top end of the market or will she aim for the middle of the road with a more affordable price? Personally, the superb quality of the final product, the clever tub containers, the convenience and ease of use mean that I will definitely recommend to friends and indeed I have already done so. They are a great idea for kids’ parties or playdates, to impress other mums on a coffee morning, the perfect accompaniment to a mid-afternoon cuppa or a tasty treat for lunchboxes once a week or for special occasions.
