I was made redundant in 2009 whilst pregnant with my 2nd child. I love being home with my two children and as we became more settled I decided to explore my options regarding returning to work. I worked out pretty quickly that working outside the home and paying full time child care was not financially viable so I started to look at what I could do from home. I had many many ideas but I came across the idea for Precious Prints Jewellery quite by accident whilst looking for a fathers day gift for my husband. I loved the idea of jewellery that captured our children's hand and foot prints, a gorgeous keep sake of when they were little. So I went off to the UK to do some training and practiced my skills until I was blue in the face and decided that I had a great product that I love and with my business and customer service background I could have a great business. I love what I do, making the jewellery is a lovely escape from the hum drum of daily life, I get to connect with great people and I have a good work life balance that works for my family.
