It sounds like this famous new mum is experiencing the same concerns every other parent goes through after welcoming a new baby into their lives.

Much-loved RTÉ presenter, Jennifer Maguire, who gave birth to a baby girl last month, has opened up about family life and the concerns she's struggled with since becoming a mother.

Chatting about the relationship she shares with baby Florence, Jennifer said: "We have been getting to know each other and it's nice to be able to spend time with her."

Paying tribute to the daughter she shares with husband Lou Zamparelli, Jennifer proudly admits that the little girl has settled into a good routine, admitting: "I'm not demented with tiredness just yet. She is a very good baby, sleeping well."

Admitting that she's found herself worrying, like any other new mum, the Republic of Telly star jokes; "I keep staring at her all day, like a weirdo. I'm checking her breathing like every five seconds."

In classic Jennifer style, she sends up the mummy/ daughter dynamic, saying: "They breathe so quietly and then sometimes she sounds like The Exorcist after she has a feed, so you are always on the watch."

We hope Jennifer continues to treat us to her very relatable insights into motherhood!
