The reality star, who welcomed her third child back in December, has reportedly made the decision to keep her youngest out of the spotlight.
Given that Kourtney’s other two children, five-year-old Mason and two-year-old Penelope, have played out their childhoods so far in front of the reality TV cameras, this is quite a big step for Kourtney and her partner, Scott Disick.
It would appear that the recent surge in media attention on the family, which has seen them at times struggling to get through a sea of photographers while out, played a crucial role in Kourtney’s decision.
A source told RadarOnline.com: “When Kourtney had Reign she vowed to not make the same mistakes with him as she did with her previous two kids…Mason grew up in front of the camera and as a result he is very aware of what fame is and that his mum and dad are famous.”
“But she doesn’t want that for Reign, so she keeps him out of the public eye as much as she can,” the source added.
Let’s hope that the paparazzi will respect Kourtney’s decision, although we wonder how easy it will be when the reality cameras are a permanent feature in their family home.
