Thoughts and prayers have been sent out to him from all over the world since news of his condition broke earlier this week, and now Lamar Odom’s children have officially spoken out.

After flying in to Nevada, where the professional basketball star is in a coma after an alleged drug overdose, 17-year-old Destiny and 13-year-old Lamar Jr. have released an official statement.

“Thanks for your outpouring of prayers and support for our dad. We are here with our family and friends. We appreciate everyone respecting our privacy at this time. We ask for your continued prayers,” read the statement, issued to CNN.

It is reported that Destiny and Lamar Jr. flew in to Nevada on Wednesday along with their mother, Lamar’s former girlfriend, Liza Morales.

Meanwhile, the Kardashian-Jenner clan have rallied around the star, with estranged wife Khloe joined by mother Kris, and sisters Kim, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie by Lamar’s bedside.

The family, too, released a statement last night, telling their fans: “As a family, we’ve decided to hold off on publishing content across our apps while we continue to support and pray for Lamar. Thank you for your kindness and understanding during this difficult time.”

Lamar and the family remain in our prayers.
