There are some odds that are so high you would never for one second think that they could be broken – but a newborn baby in the States has proven that anything is possibly, thanks to chance.
A family is celebrating their SECOND ‘Leap Day’ birth, after welcoming a daughter into the world exactly four years after their first child’s birth.
Melissa and Chad Croff made headlines with the birth of daughter Evelyn Joy, who was born on February 29, 10 days after her due date. The tot weighed in at a healthy 6lbs 9oz.
Of course, every baby’s birth is cause for celebration, but what makes Evelyn’s birthday so extraordinary is that she shares it with big sister Eliana Adaya, who was born on the last Leap Day, in 2012.

Now a doubly special day for Eliana, she paid tribute to the significance of February 29th by wearing a ‘Big Sis’ T-shirt accessorised with a ‘Birthday Girl’ badge-pin. How adorable!
Speaking to local publication The Detroit News, one nurse described the family’s coincidence as “quite the miracle”.
“It’s not something they tried or planned to do, and she [Melissa] wasn’t induced. It was all by chance,” she said.
There will be one mighty celebration in 2020!
