Sharon Osbourne has spoken for the first time about her traumatising miscarriage ordeal, after being attacked by dogs.

Appearing on The Talk yesterday, the X Factor star recalled the incident, which occurred when she was 28.

Sharon revealed that she was visiting her parents at their home, when their two dogs attacked her.

“The Doberman jumped up and head-butted me…and got me down to the ground, and they both attacked me,” she explained.

It was only afterwards, when Sharon was being treated for her injuries, that she found out she had been expecting a baby.

“I went to hospital and, I didn’t know, but I was pregnant and eventually lost the baby,” she added, solemnly.

Sharon – who is mum to Jack, Kelly and Aimee – described the loss and experience as ‘the most frightening thing in the world’.

“I was just so fearful, I could do nothing. You’re like a rag doll,” she said.

We can’t imagine how terrifying the ordeal was, and Sharon has shown great courage in recounting the tale for all the world to hear.
