Presenter Lynda Bellingham has died at the age of 66, it has been confirmed.

 

The former Loose Women presenter died on Sunday "in her husband's arms."

 

She had been battling terminal cancer since last summer, and recently spoke out about her decision to stop undergoing chemotherapy.

 

"I don't want the boys or my husband to see me die a little sad old lady. I want to go out there as I am," she said. "When you're in terrible pain, you make decisions."

 

The presenter made a final return to Loose Women for a farewell episode which will air this week. She received a standing ovation as she left the set for the last time.

 

Lynda is survived by her husband Michael Pattemore and two adult sons, Robbie and Michael.
