Just days after Rosie O’Donnell’s 17-year-old daughter Chelsea was found in the home of an unidentified man, it has emerged that the individual has been arrested.
Rosie contacted police when her daughter disappeared, with the teen reported missing for a week. When police finally located her, a report claimed that Chelsea was found in the home of an alleged heroin addict she met through Tinder.
In the latest development in the story, entertainment site TMZ reports that a man has been arrested and charged in connection with the teen’s disappearance. He is believed to have been charged with endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree distribution of obscenity to a minor.
Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph Coronato revealed that he was given permission by O’Donnell to go through Chelsea’s mobile phone. When he did, he and his team found “evidence of inappropriate communications” between the teen and the suspect.
The man is facing a maximum sentence of 10 years if found guilty.
