While we didn’t think it was at all possible, the First Lady has managed to make us love her even more with her latest joke.
With Michelle’s daughters, 16-year-old Malia and 13-year-old Sasha, recently making Time magazine’s list of the 25 Most Influential Teens of 2014, she was asked to share her reaction.
While you may have been expecting Michelle to gush unashamedly over her daughters, her response could not have been more surprising!
“I don’t know why – they’re not influential, they just live here! They have done nothing to gain any influence,” the 51-year-old said during an interview on Live! With Kelly and Michael.
Needless to say, Michelle was just joking with the show hosts, and she added: “I don’t think anybody showed them that article, so don’t mention it!”
Michelle went on to give an insight into life with two teenage daughters, admitting that both are well seasoned in sarcasm!
“When they get a little snarky, I’m like, ‘Oh, you sound like your dad!’” laughed Michelle.
It almost sounds like any other household, doesn’t it?!
