Having given birth last Friday, Maia Dunphy decided to cherish quality time with her new arrival before making the big announcement on Twitter today.
The presenter, who wed comedian Johnny Vegas in April 2011 and announced her pregnancy in January, delighted fans and followers when she uploaded a shot of the new family dynamic.
The photo, which featured one set of adorable baby shoes, was posted earlier today and captioned: "Our new man has his Dad's habits already. Tom Laurence arrived last Friday, at a civilised hour after lunch. 7lbs2"
With a nod to the pressure put on women to spring back to their pre-baby size, the always hilarious Maia then uploaded a shot of an incredibly toned physique.
Tongue firmly in cheek, the 38-year-old TV presenter wrote: "Post baby tummy 4 days in. I'm such a disappointment to myself..."
The star laid bare her thoughts on the matter by then hashtagging the phrase: "First person to mention post baby body gets a slap."
We can't wait for the first snap of Tom Laurence!
