Step forward Kelly Clarkson who gave the perfect response upon hearing that mum-of-three Katie felt compelled to comment on Kelly's weight.
During a recent interview with Heat magazine, Kelly admitted news of Katie's mean-spirited comments hadn't even reached her, admitting: "I don't have a clue what you're talking about. Someone tweeted something about me?"
Upon hearing that Katie was less-than-complimentary during a bizarre rant against the Texan singer, Kelly laughed: "Oh and she's tweeted something nasty about me? That's because she doesn't know me. I'm awesome! It doesn't bother me. It's a free world. Say what you will."
Kelly, who was on the receiving end of Katie's vicious tongue following an appearance on The Graham Norton Show shrugged off the unsisterly comments. saying: "I've just never cared what people think. It's more if I'm happy and I'm confident and feeling good, that's always been my thing. And more so now, since having a family- I don't seek out any other acceptance."
We're overjoyed to know that the proud mum has no intentions of letting unfair comments get her down.
