It looks like acclaimed Hollywood star and mum-to-be, Anne Hathaway, is no walkover when it comes to the paparazzi if her latest contribution to Instagram is anything to go by!
Taking to the popular photo-sharing app earlier today, the multi award-winning actress decided to beat intrusive photographers at their own game by posting her own bikini snap after she spotted wily photographers attempting to do the same without her permission.
Looking absolutely stunning in a red bikini with her hair slicked back, the 33-year-old actress acknowledged that the snap wasn't representative of her normal offerings, but was quick to explain the motivation behind the shot.
Beginning the post with a heartfelt New Years greeting to fans, Anne, who married fellow actor Adam Shulman in 2012, went on to say: "So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me, but just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed."
Explaining that she would appreciate an input into the images which are circulated of her online, the Les Misérables star continued: "I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter ."
The star, who announced her pregnancy in November, finished her post with high hopes for fans and followers, writing:" Wishing you love, light and blessings for the year ahead!"
