The 32-year-old actress, best known for playing Maria in the popular soap, took to her social media channels this week to reveal that her former Dancing On Ice partner Sylvain Longchambon has proposed.
“So Sylvain Longchambon and I have some more happy news to share!” wrote Samia, revealing her news with emojis of a bride, groom and diamond ring.
She went on to show off her diamond ring on her Instagram account, while Sylvain celebrated by tweeting how ‘she said OUI’.
The couple are expecting their first child together for later this year. Samia, who is already mum to five-year-old daughter Freya from her previous marriage, announced the couple’s wonderful news back in March.
At the time, the actress tweeted: “Me and Sylvain Longchambon have some very happy news to share…We are having a baby!! Freya can’t wait to be a big sister later this year!”
