The Modern Family star took to her social media channels this week to share photos from 23-year-old son Manolo’s big day.
The 42-year-old posted a gorgeous photo of just herself with a beaming Manolo, as well as another family shot featuring her fiancé, actor Joe Manganiello.
Manolo, who is Sofia’s son from her first marriage to childhood sweetheart Joe Gonzalez, graduated from Emerson College with a degree in film production.
Her son’s celebrations no doubt offered Sofia a welcome distraction from the drama involving her former partner, Nick Loeb. Loeb recently launched a lawsuit against Vergara over two frozen embryos they created during their relationship.
Despite the fact that the former couple signed a contract stating that the embryos can only be brought to term with both parents’ consent, Loeb is now challenging this and claiming that leaving them in storage is “tantamount to killing” them.
Vergara, meanwhile, has admitted that she is not worried about losing the case, insisting that their legal contract will stand up in court.
