This really is a lovely story to start our week with.
Considering her baking exploits, the way she mothers her cats and the fact that every little girl in the world adores her, it's no surprise that actress Jaime King asked Taylor Swift to be her baby's godmother. Can you think of anyone more suited to the role?
Both Taylor and Jaime announced the big news on their Instagram accounts earlier this morning. First of all, Taylor sent out this adorable picture with the caption: "Guess who just got named Godmother of this little one..... (ME) @jaime_king @kyle_newman"
Her happy post was immediately followed by a picture from the mum-to-be with a really sweet caption: "And @taylorswift will forever be looking over our new baby @kyle_newman -we all love you!!!! Xx"
We're really happy for the pop princess - being a godmother is a big honour!
We're also especially happy for Jaime who announced her second pregnancy in February after opening up about her huge struggle to get pregnant, during which she suffered five devastating miscarriages.
