We’re sending well wishes to singer Ne-Yo and his wife Crystal Renay today, following the news that they have welcomed their first child together.
A representative for the couple confirmed the news to E!, revealing that they have become parents to a son. While the tot’s name has not yet been announced, Renay shared a snapchat photo of his tiny hand, referring to him in the caption as ‘Prince SJ’.
The singer – real name Shaffer Chimere Smith – tied the knot with Crystal at the end of February, having announced their engagement and pregnancy news last September. Smith took to Instagram earlier this week to share a loving snap of himself and his wife, cradling her tummy, admitting to feeling ‘blessed’.
Smith is already father to two children; five-year-old daughter Madilyn Grace and four-year-old son Mason Evan, from his previous relationship with Monyetta Shaw.
