She welcomed him into the world almost four weeks ago, but already this much-loved star is showing off her adorable son to her fans and followers.
Samia Ghadie and fiancé Sylvain Longchambon have introduced newborn son Yves Joseph in a beautiful family shoot for OK! magazine.
The couple are seen cradling their tot on the cover of the latest issue, with 33-year-old Samia sharing all the details of the birth in an accompanying interview.
Samia, who plays Maria in Coronation Street, admitted that she thought her child was going to be born during the soap, with contractions starting as she sat down for the recent live episode.
“I was literally sitting with my legs crossed watching the show. I was terrified to move – I thought if I did my waters would break and I would end up going into labour,” she said.
In the end, little Yves’ birth didn’t involve a dramatic hospital dash, and he was born via Caesarean-section on September 24.
Samia is also mum to six-year-old daughter Freya, who seems to be taking to her new role of big sister seamlessly.
“She holds him every day when she gets home from school. She loves him and she keeps giving my mum advice on how to handle Yves!” she said.
We are so delighted for the family.
