He is one of Coronation Street’s best loved characters, but all eyes are on this star’s adorable little newborn on the front cover of the latest OK! magazine issue.

Simon Gregson, known for his long-running role as Steve McDonald on the soap, has finally introduced his gorgeous new baby, Henry Teddy, with wife Emma Gleave.

The doting couple showed off their new arrival for an exclusive cover shoot and interview with the magazine, with their older sons – eight-year-old Alfie and six-year-old Harry – joining them on big brother duty.

In the interview, Emma revealed that little Henry’s arrival into the world was more than a little complicated; she first began having contractions at 36 weeks, but it was another month before she gave birth to her little one.

Emma also recalled being rushed to surgery due to complications with the birth: “The midwife realised there was a problem with my cord. She pressed the buzzer and about 10 doctors rushed in.”

Thankfully Mum and Baby are thriving, and the family were all smiles as they posed with their latest addition – who seems to be a bit of a natural in front of the camera!

Congratulations once again to Simon, Emma and their boys.
