When the daughter of the late R&B legend, Whitney Houston, was hospitalised in January of this year, her father Bobby Brown flew cross-country to be by Bobbi Kristina's bedside.

Despite endless reports and constant speculation regarding the 22-year-old's condition, her father has appeared to remain positive, but understandably took time way from work commitments to focus on his only child with the late I'm Every Woman singer.

After being discovered face down in a bath tub in her Atlanta home, Bobbi Kristina has spent the majority of this year fighting for her life while being visited by devastated friends and family members.

Returning to the stage for the first time since his child was placed in a medically-induced coma, the controversial rapper paid tribute to her during the performance, saying; "You know, rough times are rough times. Hard times are hard times."

Admitting that the tragic event has left him uncertain at times, the 46-year-old performer said: "I don't know what the hell I'm going through right now, but I'm giving it to God and letting him deal with it."

Expressing gratitude for his fans' unwavering support, Whitney's widower went on to say: "I wanna thank all of y'all for coming out tonight, you know, and supporting me and my family."

Our thoughts continue to stay with the Houston/ Brown families.
