The 65-year-old, who has been at the centre of gender reassignment reports, received a show of unconditional love and loyalty from his daughter Kendall today.
The model finally addressed rumours regarding her father’s gender with a simple but wonderful message: “I will always love my dad, whether he’s a man or a woman.”
Making the comments to Us Weekly earlier today, the 19-year-old tackled the controversy head-on, adding: “He’s a wonderful man. And just because he’s changing shoes now, so to speak, doesn’t make him less wonderful…I love my dad. He’s always been there for me and my sisters.”
Given how the Kardashian-Jenner clan have remained largely tight-lipped on the subject of Bruce’s rumoured plan to transition into a woman, Kendall’s words speak volumes in terms of their support.
It has been a dramatic time for Bruce, who was also rumoured to be sharing an insight into his journey in a new reality TV show. Since his involvement in a car accident which resulted in the death of a woman, however, these plans are believed to have been scrapped.
We’re glad to hear Kendall sharing such a positive message of love and support for her father.
