Jesse James, the ex-husband of actress Sandra Bullock, has given an interview in which he expressed his regret over how his marriage ended.
Bullock filed for divorce from James in April 2010, with James admitting shortly after to cheating on the Oscar-winner.
In a new interview on In Depth With Graham Bensinger, James expressed remorse for ‘messing up on a global scale’ with the mother-of-one.
“I made mistakes and did stuff that I shouldn’t have. I handled the situation not the way that I should have. I got divorced and lost a kid I adopted because of it,” he said, candidly.
Bullock and James had begun the process of adopting son Louis four months previous to the divorce proceedings, and The Blind Side star pressed ahead with it as a lone parent.
Admitting that losing Louis was ‘the painful part’ of the experience for him, James added: “Whether it’s fair, whether I should have lost a kid due to infidelity, which I don’t think anybody ever does…I think with ‘Hollywood Law’ that’s totally fair.”
Sandra is reportedly said to be in a relationship with photographer Bryan Randall.
