Just days after the devout Christian bloggers went viral over a video in which Sam surprised Nia with her own pregnancy, they found themselves under scrutiny for revealing that they had suffered a miscarriage.
Now, dad Sam has had to face up to murkier aspects of his past, after he was discovered to be a registered user of Ashley Madison, a website created to enable married people to have affairs.
After the revelation went viral on social media last night, Sam and Nia released a video addressing the report, with Sam confirming that he was in fact a user of the site.
Insisting that he never met with anyone via the site, Sam went on to insist that Nia and God have forgiven him for his actions, which were the result of “fleshly desires”.
