The Duchess of Cambridge appeared on the steps of the hospital this evening alongside Prince William, following the birth of their daughter.
Kate looked beautiful, as she stepped out to introduce the world to her daughter.
Earlier on, little Prince George was at the centre of the celebrations, having been collected by dad William this evening. George entered the Lindo Wing with Prince William to visit his little sister, and waved for the awaiting crowds outside.
The little princess was born in the early hours of this morning, weighing in at eight pounds and three ounces.
The wonderful news was announced on Kensington Palace’s official Twitter account.
“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a daughter at 8.34am…The baby weighs 8lbs 3oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth,” the message read.
We are so thrilled for Kate, William and, of course, little George.
