Step-sisters Lydia Crispin and Dawn Bamber were always close and even shared the same birthday.
However, they became closer than they could ever imagine when the two best friends when both discovered that they were pregnant on the same date.
“On June 18, I did a pregnancy test and found out it was positive, and the first person I phone was Dawn. That night, she texted me to see if I was still awake and if she could phone me.”
Lydia said that when Dawn rang her she was “crying her eyes out” as she had discovered that she was pregnant too.
And things got even more amazing after that!
Despite having completely different due dates, they still gave birth on the same date, in the same hospital and even both delivered daughters too.
Lydia and Dawn are both delighted and believe that their daughters will become best friends just like them.
“For our girls to have the same birthday, like us, is lovely,” said Lydia.
Experts say the odds of two sisters discovering they were pregnant and giving birth on the same days are a million to one.
