New research shows that Irish women would sacrifice breakfast to get an extra 10 minutes in bed; however, many admitted they would jump straight out if George Clooney, Ryan Gosling, Bressie or Killian Scott was at the kitchen table.

The study, conducted by Kellogg’s to coincide with the launch of their Special K Multi-Grain Porridge, also revealed that porridge is the go-to breakfast for Irish girls, with respondents saying it fills them up, adds fibre to their diet and also helps them maintain a healthy weight.

Sugar and honey proved the most popular toppings, although many women are forgetting to add these to the overall calorie count. Fortunately Kellogg’s Special K Multi-Grain Porridge comes in three great flavours - Original, Red Berries, and Almond and Honey - which means women won't have to use any toppings at all.

Made with oats, barley and rye, the porridge is easy to prepare and is perfect for mums who need something quick in the morning.
