Cruz Beckham’s solo career has really split opinion, and it looks like singer and Strictly Come Dancing star Louise Redknapp isn’t on board with the Beckhams’ decision to let their youngest son step into the spotlight.

Cruz launched his music career this week, releasing his single, If Every Day Was Christmas, for charity – but the critics have been out in force ever since.

Now, Louise has had her say – and she reckons that Cruz’s foray into the entertainment industry has come far too soon.

Louise – who is mum to 11-year-old Charley and seven-year-old Beau – told The Sun on Sunday that her sons won’t be following in Cruz’s footsteps.

“I’d always support them, but I’d most probably try to get them to hold off – because 11 is too young,” she said.

Louise admits that she, herself, is not perfect; and the gruelling Strictly schedule has left her struggling with ‘working mum’s guilt’.

“Neither [Charley nor Beau] do their schoolwork unless I’m supervising and screaming at them. So I’ve written lots of notes in their homework diaries saying, ‘Sorry, we will catch up when I get kicked off Strictly’,” she revealed.

Do you agree with Louise, regarding Cruz’s new career?
