Busy little babies can get into all sorts of mischief, as we parents well know, but sometimes it can lead them into dangerous situations.

Thankfully for one Chinese infant who found himself in a life-threatening situation this week, there were some kind strangers on hand to jump in and help.

A baby boy thought to be around one year old was reportedly saved by eight strangers, after he managed to get stuck in the safety bars of a third-floor apartment block balcony. The incident occurred in the Guizhou Province of the country, with CCTV footage capturing the dramatic scenes.

Video showed the tot’s legs dangling from the balcony while his head was stuck in the bars. Thankfully, passersby caught sight of the baby, with three men climbing up the terrace to help him.

While one man held the child’s body to ease the pressure on his head, two others tried to free him from the bars. Meanwhile, down below on the street, a group of five people waited with a quilt, for fear the child would fall during the rescue process.

Eventually, the men managed to push the baby back through onto the balcony, unharmed.

Well done to those heroic people – they probably just saved a young life.

SHARE to send a pat on the back to them, and to anyone going above and beyond to help out another.
