The Sons of Anarchy star and his wife Meghan McDermott are expecting their first child together, due on the 39-year-old actor’s birthday.
The couple shared their wonderful news last night, stepping out for a Vanity Fair event in New York to celebrate the Tribeca Film Festival.
Meghan displayed a blossoming baby bump, while proud dad-to-be Theo cradled her stomach, his face beaming with happiness.
Sharing their news with People magazine on the red carpet, Theo admitted that they are waiting for the birth to find out the gender of their little one.
“We don’t know what it is, but we’re pretty excited about it. And it’s due on my birthday!” he said, excitedly.
Theo, who plays Juan Carlos “Juice” Ortiz on the award-winning show, added: “I’m just excited for him or her. I keep calling it ‘him or her’. I’m just excited for this baby to grow up in New York City because it’s the greatest place in the world, and it made me who I am, and I just think that it’s going to be very interesting because it’s a very different time from when I grew up.”
