Huge congratulations are in order this evening as it has been revealed that actor Mark-Paul Gosselaar has become a dad for the fourth time.

The star, best known for his roles in Saved By the Bell and Franklin and Bash, took to his Twitter account earlier this evening to confirm that he and his wife, Catriona McGinn, welcomed a daughter yesterday, Tuesday, February 17.

“So in love with our new baby girl, Lachlyn! Born last night 2/17. Mum and baby are healthy and happy. 2 boys, 2 girls, too perfect!” wrote the 40-year-old star.

This is the second child for the couple, who also have a 16-month-old son Dekker Edward, together. Mark-Paul is also a dad to eight-year-old daughter Ava and 10-year-old son Michael Charles from his previous marriage.

The star previously spoke about his excitement ahead of his fourth baby’s birth, admitting that he has always wanted a big family.

“It’s something we’re really excited about and we’ve been planning for a while. I love big families. There’s nothing better than a happy child,” he told People magazine.

Huge congratulations to the family on their amazing news.
