She recently announced that she had split from her partner, the father of her child, and now this star has spoken frankly about life as a single mum.
Former Brookside star Claire Sweeney has admitted that she finds something new to worry about every day with son Jaxon.
The 44-year-old, who is mum to the toddler with former partner Daniel Riley, spoke candidly during an interview with HuffPost Parents.
She said: “Every day is nerve-wracking, every day I worry about things with him. My mother says I have ‘mother’s guilt’.”
“Things I never had any fear of before, such as driving and flying make me anxious now. I’ve never been bothered about getting on a plane, but I got on a plane with Jaxon for the first time and my nerves went,” she added.
Claire went on to credit her close friends and family for supporting and helping her through those worrying moments that every parent experiences.

“It’s good to have other mothers around you who will take the plunge for you and encourage you to do things,” she said.
Claire and Daniel welcomed little Jaxon in September of last year. The couple, who had an on-off relationship, confirmed their split last month.
