Last month, it was revealed that the Cinderella star had adopted a little girl called Edith Vivian Patricia Upton but the two times Academy Award winner has only just opened up about her little girl for the first time yesterday.

Talking to Sky News Australia, the 45-year-old, who is already mum to 13-year-old Dashiell, Roman, who is ten, and Ignatius, 6, has said: "Fourth time around, it's extraordinary.”

The Australian actress admitted that she wanted to adopt a baby because she believed there were so many children out there who aren’t as lucky as her own biological kids.

"There's a lot of children out there who don't have the good fortune that our biological children do, so it's wonderful. It's wonderful to welcome a little girl into our fold,” she said.

A source told US Weekly, that it was important for the family to adopt a little girl because they wanted “to even out the household”.

Ah, we wish them all the best for the future!
