Family is clearly everything to the Beckhams, and this is usually most evident each time a birthday or special anniversary pops up.
You can bet your bottom dollar then, that doting dad David had some very loving words to share with eldest son Brooklyn today, on his 17th birthday.
Taking to Instagram to share an old black-and-white photo of himself with his first-born, the former footballer paid a moving tribute to the child who ‘changed his life’.
“17 years ago today, this little man came into this world and changed our lives in so many ways…We were given the most precious gift that makes us smile and proud every single time he walks through the door,” gushed the 40-year-old.
Wishing Brooklyn a very happy birthday, David added: “Not so little anymore, but look at the smile.”
Brooklyn has become quite the star in his own right over the past number of years, leading his siblings at social events and even shooting the latest photo campaign for high-end designer label Burberry.
He’s clearly carving an exciting career for himself, and we can’t wait to see what the next few years hold for him. Happy birthday, Brooklyn!
