The AES Family Day at Punchestown Festival is taking place on Saturday 28th of April 2012 at Punchestown Racecouse. There will be plenty of action on and off the racecourse for adults and kids to enjoy, with free entry for children all day.
 
AES, the number one waste and recycling company in Kildare committed to the local community, will host interactive fun areas for children at the festival where they can learn about recycling through fun arts and crafts with recycled materials. There will also be music workshops, a shopping village, a funfair and love music on the day.
 
The AES Family Day will also see lots of action on the race front with a seven race national hunt card featuring the Grade 1 AES Champion Four Year Old Hurdle, worth €80,000 While the adults are enjoying the racing, kids will be well looked after with the ‘Junior Jockey’s Fun Club’ featuring bounce world, a 3,000 foot area of inflatable fun. In keeping with the racing festivities, children will also be able to take part in ‘The Giddy Up Club’, an interactive kid’s race club offering pony rides. There will also be face painting, a children’s fancy dress competition and a marching band.
